Cricket craze hits America: When and how to watch T20 World Cup 2024

Get ready to witness the biggest cricketing spectacle of the year - the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, co-hosted by the West Indies and the USA, where England will try to defend the title. But hold on, how do you catch every ball of this multi-national event. Worry not, we've got it covered. 

The teams are divided into four groups of five, where the top two teams from group stages will move into the Super 8 stage. 

T20 World Cup groups

  • Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, The USA.
  • Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman.
  • Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea.
  • Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal.

When to tune in?

Mark your calendars, because the action kicks off on June 1 in Dallas, where hosts, the USA will lock horns against Canada in the tournament opener. The final will be played on 29 June in Barbados.

Sky Sports will broadcast the live coverage of all 55 matches of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 for just $33. 

Who's playing? 

This year's edition is bigger and better than ever, with 20 teams will fight for the trophy. The seasoned powerhouses like England, India, and Australia will face rising stars like Namibia and Papua New Guinea. Don't forget to cheer on the hosts USA, who is making a historic debut in the tournament.

The West Indies and the US got automatic entry to the highly anticipated and the top eight teams from the last T20 World Cup in 2022 also qualified. (England, Pakistan, New Zealand, India, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands and Sri Lanka)
