The bout against Darian Cruz was intense, with the Puerto Rican initially taking the lead by scoring a point with a single-leg hold. However, Aman quickly turned the tide, strategically targeting Cruz's shoulders to accumulate points. Despite Cruz's efforts to regain the lead with a two-point move, Sehrawat’s technical superiority prevailed. With just 37 seconds remaining, Aman secured additional points, ultimately winning the match as Cruz's final move resulted in another point for the Indian wrestler.
