In a historic first, India is hosting the first MotoGP event in the country. MotoGP, short for Motorcycle Grand Prix, is the highest class of motorcycle road racing events held on road circuits. The event is taking place in Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Bike racers from all over the world will be participating in this event where the bikes race at extremely high speeds, going over even 300 kmph.

The event this year will mark the return of motorsport to India after the departure of Formula 1 in 2013 which will feature 82 riders from 41 teams. The Grand Prix is one of the biggest and grandest racing events in the world and bike racers from all over the world will be participating in MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 events at the Budh International Circuit.

How to book tickets?

The tickets come in various ranges, starting from Rs 800 to Rs Rs 40,000 for roughly 1 lakh seats. One can book the tickets through BookMyShow where one will have to select MotoGP Bharat in the sports category. The races can be streamed live on JioCinema or Sports18 channel as well.

Schedule for MotoGP

The grand motor race event is scheduled to take place from Friday, September 22 to Sunday, September 24. The schedule for the three days of the event will see racers from all over the world competeing with each other in this illustrious racing race.
