In a unanimous decision at the annual general meeting held in Bali, Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) for a third consecutive term. The proposal for Shahs extension was put forth by Shammi Silva, the President of Sri Lanka Cricket, and received unanimous support from all ACC members.Shah, who assumed the role in January 2021, will continue to lead the ACC after successfully steering the organization through the Asia Cup in T20 format in 2022 and in ODI format in 2023.
