Pakistan's captain Babar Azam is making full use of his time in India. As per the reports he bought a sherwani for INR 7 from the famous Sabyasachi store. Sherwani is a popular outfit for grooms in India and Pakistan. The 29-year-old batter is set to get married after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Reports also claimed that Pakistan's stalwart batter also bought some jewelry from a renowned store.

Fans criticize the move

Fans in Pakistan are concerned whether Babar is less focused on the ongoing World Cup competition.

A user on microblogging platform X wrote, "Looks like finally, truth comes out, why does he have such a dwindling performance in the World Cup. He has been busy all this time thinking about his upcoming wedding and shopping".

Another user wrote, "Getting a sherwani does not sound like something Babar Azam would do one day before an important World Cup match".

However, Babar Azam didn't had an ideal campaign with the bat as he failed to convert his starts into big innings.

Pakistan will lock horns against New Zealand in a must-win game on November 4 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, and a defeat could see them crashing out of the tournament, while the win will take them a step closer to the tournament.
