Australia vs Netherlands match major update:

  1. Australia win toss, opt to bat
  2. Travis Head is not in playing XI, Marcus Stonis will miss the match due to niggle and is replaced by Cameron Green

In the World Cup 2023 match against Netherlands in New Delhi on Wednesday, Australia chose to bat after winning the toss. After recovering from a left hand fracture, Travis Head is not included in the playing XI, while Cameron Green replaces Marcus Stoinis, an all-rounder who is sidelined with a niggle. However, Netherlands hasn't made any changes to their lineup.

Australia will be facing the Netherlands in their fifth match of the ODI tournament. After loosing their first two matches, against India and South Africa, team Australia secured back-to-back wins against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Whereas, on the other hand Netherlands have won just one out of their four matches in the tournament agaisnt South Africa by 38 runs.

Australia's playing 11: David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Steven Smith, Josh Inglis (wk), Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Pat Cummins (capt), Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa.

Netherlands playing 11: Vikramjit Singh, Max O'Dowd, Colin Ackermann, Bas de Leede, Teja Nidamanuru, Scott Edwards (capt & wk), Sybrand Engelbrecht, Roelof van der Merwe, Logan van Beek, Aryan Dutt, Paul van Meekeren.
