AUS vs ENG: Australia knock England out of World Cup 2023

Australia secured a thumping win against the defending champions in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Chasing the target of 287 runs, England were bundled out for 253 runs. Ben Stokes was the top scorer from his side who scored 64 runs off 90 deliveries.

Adam Zampa perfored according to his reputation as the leg-spinner landed three decisive blows in their 33-run win over England.

Earlier in the innings, England skipper Jos Butler won the toss and invited Australia to bat first. Australia posted 286 helped by the handy knocks from Marnus Labuschagne's 71 runs off 83 deliveries and Steven Smith's 44 runs off 52 deliveries.
