India’s topmost wrestlers protesting against Wresting Federation of India (WFI) chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, held a Mahapanchayat with Khap leaders in Haryana’s Sonipat.

Wrestlers are protesting against the WFI chief over sexual harassment charges. In the mahapanchayat, wrestlers declared that they will participate in Asian Games only if these issues are resolved and all their demands are met.

Sakshee Malikkh, 2016 Olympics medal-winning wrestler, while speaking with the media, shared, “we will participate in the Asian Games only when all these issues will be resolved. You can’t understand what we’re going through mentally each day.”

It should be noted that Malikkh along with Bajrang Punia held a Mahapanchayat with Khap leaders in Haryana’s Sonipat today.
