Akash Deep was chosen by the men’s selection committee to replace Shivam Mavi in the Indian team for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022. Due to a back injury, Mavi is no longer eligible to compete in the competition. The men’s cricket competition will be played in T20 format from September 28 through October 8.

Pooja Vastrakar, who had previously been on the standby list of athletes, has been chosen by the Women’s Selection Committee to replace Anjali Sarvani at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022.

Senior Men’s Squad for Team India: Ruturaj Gaikwad (Captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rahul Tripathi, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Washington Sundar, Shahbaz Ahmed, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Shivam Mavi, Shivam Dube, Prabhsimran Singh (wk), Akash Deep.

Yash Thakur, Sai Kishore, Venkatesh Iyer, Deepak Hooda, and Sai Sudarsan are on the roster of available players.

Amanjot Kaur, Devika Vaidya, Titas Sadhu, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Minnu Mani, Kanika Ahuja, Uma Chetry (wk), Anusha Bareddy, and Pooja Vastrakar are the members of Team India’s senior women’s squad for the 19th Asian Games. Harmanpreet Kaur is the captain. Smriti Mandhana is the vice captain.

Harleen Deol, Kashvee Gautam, Sneh Rana, and Saika Ishaque are on the roster of available players.
