Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Jena were in a contest of their own to clinch the gold in a highly anticipated men’s javelin final. While the rest were barely competing for the bronze medal finish. Japan’s Dean Genki Roderick managed to win the bronze medal in the men’s javelin final with a best effort of 82.68m.
There was a tough competition between two Indian duo as both players attempted for gold, however, in the end, it was the defending champion who won the contest with his season best of 88.88. Kishore Jena showed his mettle to clinch a silver medal after much competition with Neeraj Chopra in the contest.
