2024: Cricket calendar packed with World Cup hopes and home battles

Indian men's and women's cricket teams face a packed calendar overflowing with international clashes, prestigious tournaments, and exciting league debuts, all fueled by the fervent hope of ending India's long-standing wait for an ICC trophy.

The year kicks off with the hope of erasing the memory of India's trophy drought. The 'Men in Blue' and the 'Women in Blue' set their sights on the respective T20 World Cups in June and September, respectively. India lifted the last ICC trophy in 2013 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, where India won against England in the 2013 Champions Trophy.
