In its recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Zomato took a jab at the Pakistan cricket team's performance in the USA vs Pak T20 World Cup match. The USA's cricket team, which is playing the World Cup for the first time had defeated Pakistan in Super over by 5 runs.
In the post, Zomato wrote, "Pakistan bro aisi performance hogi to tumhi batado sunday ko ad slots le ya na (Pakistan bro, if there is such performance then please tell whether you will take the second slot on Sunday or not)." The famous food delivery company targeted Pakistan over its performance against the USA in the previous match.

Zomato's top rival, Swiggy also joined in the fun, mocking Pakistan's performance. Swiggy wrote on X, "lagta hai USA jaa ke zyada burger pizzey kha liye(Looks like USA went and ate more burgers and pizza)."

The two rivals are set to face each other in the T20 World Cup in a match scheduled to take place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on June 9, 2024. The game is expected to start at 10:30 AM (EDT), according to reports. India and Pakistan cricket have clashed seven times previously in ICC Men's T20 World Cup matches which include twice in 2007 including the Final, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2021 and 2022. Barring 2009 and 2010, the two teams have faced each other in all years of the Men’s T20 cricket tournament.
