Pakistan great Inzamam- ul- Haq launched a cutting attack on Sunil Gavaskar, replying explosively to the Indian legend's statement that Pakistan can not indeed beat India's B teams. After India defeated Pakistan by six lattices in the titleholders jewel two Sundays agone , Gavaskar stressed the huge gulf that has surfaced between the standard of justice played by the two nations, with the Indian team dominating theirarch-rivals in recent matches.
Although Pakistan lead the head- to- head contests by a long way, they've lost to India in their last six transnational matches. While Inzamam has openly criticised Mohammad Rizwan and the Pakistan platoon's performances, the former captain believes Gavaskar’s recent reflections went too far. Inzamam called on Gavaskar to reflect deeply on the history between India and Pakistan, professing that the Little Master designedly decided out of a match between the two sides in the history.
Gavaskar formerly fled Sharjah to escape from playing against Pakistan. He's aged than us; he's our elderly. We greatly admire him, but you shouldn't speak about a country like that. Sure, you have the right to praise your platoon as much as you want, but opining like this on other brigades is in bad taste," Inzamam said on a original news channel. 'Ask him to take a look at the statistics and he will know where Pakistan is'. I'm deeply hurt that he gave such a statement. He was a great, regardful cricketer, but by making similar commentary, he's only slighting his heritage. He should control his lingo." What did Gavaskar say
Gavaskar had said that he suppose a B team (from India) clearly( can give Pakistan a run for their plutocrat). C team, not sure but a B team will be veritably hard to beat for Pakistan in their current form, driving a bit of contestation with his statement. Inzamam is not the first to reply as former Pakistan trainer Jason Gillespie too had trashed Gavaskar's commentary as' gibberish'.
The titleholders jewel marked the return of an ICC event in Pakistan after 29 times when they had preliminarilyco-hosted the 1996 World Cup. still, the final result was not memorable as Pakistan failed to reach thesemi-final, losing to New Zealand and India before the Bangladesh match in Rawalpindi was washed out. Technically, Pakistan just played one match on their home soil the event nature against New Zealand in Lahore on February 19.
