New Delhi: In a distressing incident on Sunday, around 80 students from a district council school in Maharashtras Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district were hospitalized due to food poisoning after consuming biscuits provided as part of a nutritional meal program. Dr. Babasaheb Ghughe, a medical officer at the hospital, revealed that the incident occurred early Saturday morning around 8:30 AM. After eating the biscuits, 257 students reported symptoms of food poisoning. Among them, 153 were admitted to the hospital, with some treated and discharged,” he stated in a report by India Today. Seven students in severe conditionSeven students, who exhibited severe symptoms, were transferred to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Civil Hospital for further treatment.
