Science News: Scientists at the University of Tianjin, China have made an important new discovery in the treatment of cancer. They found that a natural compound called silibin can prevent their growth by increasing the accumulation of lactate in cancer cells. This discovery can prove to be an important step in the field of effective treatment of cancer. Chinese scientists claim that effective treatment of cancer can be developed with this discovery. The use of silibin prevents their growth by increasing the accumulation of lactate in cancer cells, which will help develop new treatment of cancer in the future.

Important disclosure of lactate transport system

Professor Ye Sheng and his team have identified a protein called MCT1 (Monocarboxylate Transporter 1), which removes lactate from cancer cells. This process helps to maintain pH balance of cells and give energy to the surrounding cells. Silibin blocks this protein, causing lactate accumulation in cancer cells and stops their growth. They found that Silibin could stop this transporter. The Silibin closes the MCT1, which accumulates in the lactate cancer cells and stops their growth.

Silibin: An effective natural remedy

Silibin, which is used in traditional sugar therapy, blocks the MCT1 protein and increases the accumulation of lactate in cancer cells, which hinders their growth. In laboratory tests, this compound has been found to be effective in liver cancer cells, which can make this treatment option and effective.

Liver cancer and its symptoms

Lever cancer is caused by abnormal increase in liver cells and its symptoms include pain in the upper right part of the abdomen, loss of weight, loss of appetite, fatigue, nausea, vomiting and jaundice. The disease can be difficult to identify in the initial stage, which can delay in treatment.

New treatment methods and future direction

Compounds such as silibin can be used to control the growth of cancer cells, which can be more effective together with traditional treatments. In future, more tests will be done based on this research, which can add a new chapter to the field of cancer treatment.
