Protest against BJP: Under the leadership of Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari, Youth Congress National President Srinivas, and Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress President Vikrant Bhuria, Youth Congress workers staged a protest today, highlighting issues ranging from unemployment to women's safety and the recent Harda firecracker blasts.

Gathering and Protest

Gathering at the PCC office, the Youth Congress workers, led by Patwari, Srinivas, and Bhuria, marched towards the Assembly to voice their grievances against the BJP government. However, their protest was met with resistance as police barricades obstructed their path at the Shivaji intersection.

Confrontation with Police

A tense confrontation ensued between the Congress workers and the police as they attempted to breach the barricades. Despite attempts to deter them with tear gas and water cannons, the Congress workers persisted, with some even resorting to climbing over the barricades.

Unfulfilled Promises and Government Failures

National President of Youth Congress, Srinivas, lambasted the BJP government for its failure to address key issues, particularly concerning unemployment and the handling of the Harda firecracker blasts. He accused the government of neglecting the welfare of the affected families and downplaying the severity of the situation.

Allegations Against Chief Minister

Srinivas further criticised Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, alleging that he was merely a puppet controlled by external forces and lacked the capacity to govern effectively. He cited the government's inaction and lack of transparency regarding crucial matters as evidence of its incompetence.

Continuing Struggle

Despite facing resistance from the authorities, the Youth Congress remained undeterred in their pursuit of justice and accountability from the government. Their determination to hold the ruling party accountable for its shortcomings underscored their commitment to representing the interests of the people.

As the protests continue, the Youth Congress's actions serve as a reminder of the importance of holding elected officials accountable and advocating for the rights and well-being of the citizens they represent.
