In a suspected case of honour killing, a man killed his 20-year-old daughter and later surrendered before the police in Nai Mandi area of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Because his daughter was having an affair with a young man living in a nearby village. The accused father told the police that he had explained to his daughter many times and had also appealed to her to respect her in the society, but she was not agreeing and kept talking to her lover secretly on the phone. Angered by this, he slit his daughters throat.What Police said On this matter, SP City Satyanarayan Prajapat said that the daughters father has been arrested on charges of murder. After post-mortem the body will be handed over to the relatives. The deceased was having a love affair for a long time and out of anger, her father murdered her by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon on Thursday.
