Ratlam police officer viral video: In a video which has surfaced across social media platfrms, a statement comes from Pankaj Rajput, the officer in charge of the Dhamanod outpost in Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh, who intervened in an incident where Narendra, also known as Banti Sharma, allegedly associated with Bajrang Dal, along with several others, was reportedly extorting money and intimidating local hawkers in Dhamanod village under the guise of religion.
Rajput attempted to dissuade Sharma from influencing the youth negatively, stating, “You are ruining the lives of these children (Hindus); let them study. Following you won’t lead them anywhere.” His intention was to prevent young individuals from being led astray by violent activities and to encourage their focus on education and future.

However, the day after this incident, Rajput was transferred, facing no disciplinary action beyond the reassignment.
This transfer mirrors a similar recent case involving Ratlam SP Rahul Lodha, who was also transferred shortly after preventing a riot on Ganesh Chaturthi. Local residents are now increasingly concerned, pointing out an alleged lack of support from the authorities in handling issues that disrupt communal harmony.
