Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Tuesday and extend an invitation to him to the dedication of the Ram Janambhoomi temple in Ayodhya.
The Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra Foundation stated that the installation of the Ram idol is anticipated to take place in January of next year. According to sources, CM Yogi would meet the Prime Minister at his home at about 6 o’clock.
The Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has proposed holding the consecration ceremony of the Ram idol on January 21, 22, or 23 next year.
“The consecration ceremony of Ram Janmabhoomi will take place in the third week of January next year. Three dates – 21, 22, and 23 of January, have been fixed for the consecration ceremony. We will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the ceremony, which will also be attended by prominent sadhus and other dignitaries,” the trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai said to the media.
The trust also plans to invite over 25,000 Hindu religious leaders from 136 Sanatan traditions for the ceremony. These 25,000 saints will be different from the 10,000 “special guests” who will attend the consecration ceremony inside the premises of Ram Janmabhoomi.
The sanctum sanctorum of the grandiose Ram Mandir is nearing completion. Anil Misra, a temple trust member, said that the preparation for the grand event of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ is in full swing.”
The trust is planning to provide free food for about a month to the devotees coming for the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. The trust would reportedly be feeding around 75,000–1,00,000 people every day for the whole month of January.
