Groom’s family held hostage for ransom

Following the bride's refusal, the situation escalated. The bride's family reportedly took the groom and his father hostage, demanding a ransom of ₹2.8 lakh. After negotiations, the groom’s family paid ₹95,000 to secure their release, with police presence at the scene.
