Etah murder case: A shocking incident in Etah, Uttar Pradesh, has turned a murder case into a real-life thriller. A minor girl, in collaboration with her 38-year-old lover, has been implicated in the brutal murder of her own mother. This twisted tale reveals a disturbing plot that raises numerous questions about family dynamics and the depths of betrayal.

Contract for murder

According to police reports, the mother allegedly contracted her lover to kill her daughter. However, during the attempt, the daughter proposed an unexpected alternative, leading to a dramatic turn of events. "Mummy wanted her lover to kill me. Instead, I offered my mother's lover to marry me. In return, I killed my mother along with her lover," she stated during interrogation.

Longer standing family conflict

The incident originated in Alhapur village, where 32-year-old Alka lived with her husband and two minor daughters. Tensions arose between Alka and her elder daughter due to the daughter’s relationships with two boys, whom Alka deemed unsuitable. Frustrated by her daughter's defiance, Alka filed a police complaint against the boys, hoping to put an end to the relationship. Despite a warning from the authorities, her daughter continued to see them.

Discovery of the body

On October 6, Alka's body was discovered in the Jasrathpur area. Her husband, Ramakant, suspected the boys, Akhilesh and Aniket, of the murder. However, the police investigation yielded no substantial evidence against them. While searching Alka's call records, authorities learned about her long-standing affair with Subhash, a man recently released from prison after serving time for rape.

A twist in the tale

Upon realizing both Subhash and Alka's daughter were missing, police efforts intensified. Eventually, they tracked down the pair in the Nagla Kalu area and arrested them early on October 10. During questioning, Subhash revealed the shocking details of their affair, which persisted even after Alka's marriage.

Subhash recounted a chilling moment when Alka offered him ₹50,000 to kill her daughter. When he initially attempted to follow through, the daughter pleaded for her life, causing Subhash to rethink his plans. Instead, he brought her to Agra, convincing Alka that he had completed the task.

A gruesome resolution

However, after not receiving the promised payment, Subhash and Alka concocted a new plan. The daughter proposed that if Subhash killed her mother, she would marry him. In a brutal confrontation, they assaulted Alka and ultimately strangled her with a dupatta.

Both accused are now in police custody and are set to face legal proceedings. Meanwhile, Alka's body has been handed over to her family following a post-mortem examination.

This horrifying case not only highlights the complexities of familial relationships but also poses significant questions regarding morality, consent, and the extreme consequences of betrayal. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are determined to pursue justice for Alka.
