Crime news: In a heart-wrenching incident that shook Gurugram, a 34-year-old woman stands accused of fatally attacking her live-in partner, allegedly due to his interference in her personal life. According to authorities, the woman, identified as Neetu alias Nisha, struck her boyfriend with a pan, leading to his tragic demise.

Neetu and her partner, Vicky, had been in a relationship for six years. Vicky, aged 28, worked at a city-based hospital for nearly a decade. Neetu, a resident of Ashok Vihar, Gurugram, found herself entangled in a fatal altercation with Vicky.

Vicky's lifeless body was discovered in a house in Kachchi Colony late on Friday night. His brother, reeling from shock and grief, filed a complaint with the authorities, alleging foul play. An FIR was promptly registered at Sadar police station under sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention), initiating a thorough investigation into the matter.

Police arrests accused

Led by Inspector Arjun Dev, a dedicated team from the Sadar police station worked tirelessly to unravel the truth behind Vicky's untimely demise. Their efforts bore fruit as Neetu was apprehended from Ghata village on Sunday. However, her brother, believed to have aided in the crime, remains at large, prompting a coordinated effort by law enforcement to bring him to justice.

Reconstructing the events

Police inquiries revealed a chilling sequence of events leading up to Vicky's tragic end. Neetu confessed to orchestrating the fatal assault, revealing that she and her brother confronted Vicky in his room. Consuming alcohol, a heated altercation ensued, culminating in Neetu striking Vicky on the head and neck with a pan.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities have secured vital evidence, including the murder weapon and Vicky's mobile phone, bolstering their case against the accused. Neetu's temporary custody has been granted by the city court, allowing for further interrogation as efforts to locate her brother intensify.
