Rahul Gandhi's strategic shift

Rahul Gandhi's decision to contest the Lok Sabha seat from Rae Bareli comes after facing defeat in Amethi and securing victory in Wayanad during previous elections. With Rae Bareli historically being a Congress stronghold and his mother, Sonia Gandhi, having represented the constituency for five terms since 2004, Rahul's candidacy holds big importance in maintaining the party's legacy.
