Crime News: In a shocking incident in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, an unfaithful wife and her lover have been accused of brutally murdering her husband. The lover, along with his accomplices, allegedly orchestrated a plan to kill the woman's husband in a cold-blooded manner. They first intoxicated him with alcohol and then injected him with crushed sleeping pills before strangling him with a towel. In an attempt to cover up the crime, they stuffed the body in a sack and discarded it in a pond.

Discovery of the body

The Morena police revealed that on August 2, the body of a young man was discovered in a sack near a pond in the Chharra Ka Pura village, located in the Noorabad police station area. The deceased was identified as Manoj, a resident of Bichaula village, by his father, brother, and other family members. However, Manoj's wife, Bharti, refused to recognize the body, claiming it was not her husband.

Bharti’s behavior aroused suspicion among the police. Investigators scrutinized her mobile call records and uncovered an illicit relationship with Ashutosh Mahor, a resident of Morena and manager of a computer training center. Bharti was taken into custody for questioning. Initially, she tried to mislead the police but eventually confessed under intense interrogation. Ashutosh was also detained for questioning.

Love affair at computer center

Ashutosh managed the Kaushal Vikas Kendra on Vankhandi Road in Morena, where Bharti attended computer classes. Their relationship blossomed into an affair, which Bharti's husband, Manoj, eventually discovered. Tensions escalated, and in May, Bharti ran away with Ashutosh.

Plot, execution of murder

Ashutosh grew increasingly frustrated with Manoj, whom he saw as an impediment to his relationship with Bharti. Determined to eliminate this obstacle, he devised a plan to murder Manoj. On July 23, Ashutosh invited Manoj over and, with the help of his friends, organized a liquor party. Once Manoj was heavily intoxicated, they brutally assaulted him. The group crushed sleeping pills, dissolved them in water, and injected the solution into Manoj's stomach, chest, ribs, and neck, rendering him unconscious. The accused then strangled him with a towel. To dispose of the body, they placed it in a trolley bag, stuffed it into a sack, and dumped it in a pond.
