Wife dismembers husband into 15 parts with boyfriend, hides remains in cement

Uttar Pradesh: Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput's wife Muskan Rastogi and her boyfriend Sahil Shukla were murdered in Meerut. They dismembered Saurabh's body into 15 parts and placed it in a drum and sealed it with cement. In the police investigation, both of them admitted to the murder and it took 14 days to retrieve the body from the seal. The crime was committed in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. In this crime, Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput was killed and his body was hacked into 15 pieces and placed in a drum and sealed with cement. Saurabh's wife Muskan Rastogi and her boyfriend Sahil Shukla committed this ghastly murder.

Saurabh soon discovered that his wife was having an adulterous affair

The police investigation showed that the murder was carried out because of an affair, which was a game of love, betrayal and cruelty. Merchant Navy man departed for wife.  Saurabh Rajput and Muskan Rastogi got married in 2016, which was a love marriage. Saurabh left his merchant navy job to spend more time with his wife Muskan. Following the protests of the family and mounting tension in the household, Saurabh and Muskan began to live apart in a rented home.

They also welcomed a daughter in 2019, but Saurabh soon discovered that his wife was having an adulterous affair with his friend Sahil. Following this affair, tension between the two grew and the issue reached divorce. But Saurabh did not divorce for his daughter's good and re-entered the merchant navy. In 2023, Saurabh traveled overseas in relation to work.

The horrific reality of Saurabh's murder

Saurabh's daughter turned six on February 28 and he came home on February 24 to meet his daughter. Meanwhile, Sahil and Muskan's love had grown deep. Both of them hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Saurabh. On March 4, Muskan added sleeping medicine in Saurabh's food, following which he went into a deep sleep. When Saurabh went to sleep, Muskan and Sahil attacked him with a knife and cut his body into pieces.

Pieces of dead body sealed in drum

Muskan and Sahil mutilated Saurabh's body into 15 parts and placed them in a drum. Then, the drum was sealed using cement so that the body can be discarded. Meanwhile, Muskan distributed the news to neighbors by telling them that she is going to Manali with Saurabh. Following this, she uploaded social media pictures via Saurabh's phone as if Saurabh was safe and smiling.

Police response and uncovering the truth

When Saurabh's family attempted to reach him for a few days and his phone was not picked up, they complained to the police. The police arrested Muskan and Sahil and interrogated them sternly. When the police opened the drum, the body pieces were removed with great difficulty as it was cemented. The police extracted Saurabh's remains 14 days later with the help of a drill machine.
