On Monday, BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut sharply criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his support of the latest Hindenburg Research report and its claims about Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairperson Madhabi Buch. Ranaut labeled Gandhi as the “most dangerous man,” accusing him of attempting to undermine the nation’s stability, security, and economy.

In a post on X, Ranaut described Gandhi as “bitter, poisonous, and destructive,” asserting that his goal is to dismantle the country if he cannot achieve the position of Prime Minister. She dismissed the Hindenburg report's allegations as ineffective and characterized Gandhi's endorsement of it as futile.

“Rahul Gandhi is bent on destabilizing the nation. If he cannot become Prime Minister, he will do everything to destroy the country. The Hindenburg report that he endorsed has proven to be a non-event,” Ranaut stated. She further warned Gandhi to brace himself for a lifetime in the opposition and criticized his aspirations and leadership.

Rahul Gandhi’s concerns about the Hindenburg report

In response to the Hindenburg report's latest allegations, Rahul Gandhi raised serious concerns about the integrity of India’s stock market and questioned SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch's role. Gandhi, in a video message released on Sunday, highlighted the potential conflict of interest involving Buch and criticized her failure to resign.

“As the Leader of the Opposition, I must alert you to the significant risks facing the Indian stock market due to compromised regulatory institutions. The Hindenburg report raises serious allegations against the Adani group, including illegal share ownership and price manipulation using offshore funds,” Gandhi remarked.

Drawing a cricket analogy, Gandhi added, “These allegations are severe because they suggest that the umpire, SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch, is herself compromised. Why has she not resigned yet?”
