In a chilling case of greed and betrayal, a man in Delhi’s Narela Industrial Area planed his own father’s murder over a family and property dispute. The accused, identified as Luv, hired his servant and the servant’s son to carry out the crime. Following an investigation, the police arrested Luv and Vishal, the servant’s son, while the primary executor of the murder, Jitendra, remains at large. Authorities are conducting raids at potential hideouts to apprehend him.

Planned murder over property dispute

According to police reports, Luv conspired with his servant, Jitendra, and Jitendra’s son, Vishal, offering them money to eliminate his father. Once the murder was committed, the perpetrators disposed of the body by stuffing it into a sack and dumping it in a drain. The motive behind the crime was Luv’s anger over his father’s decision to disinherit him after his love marriage. His father intended to divide the property between his two daughters instead.

Missing person’s report leads to discovery

The victim, 67-year-old Ramesh Bharadwaj, resided in Adarsh Nagar with his family, which included his two married daughters and son, Luv. On January 29, Bharadwaj’s daughter, Ekta Arora, filed a missing person’s report, stating that her father had been untraceable since January 28.

During the investigation, police discovered that Bharadwaj was last seen with his former servant, Jitendra. When they visited Jitendra’s residence, they found him missing along with his son Vishal. With the help of technical surveillance, the police tracked Vishal’s location and took him into custody.

Confession reveals shocking details

Upon interrogation, Vishal admitted that his father, Jitendra, had strangled Bharadwaj to death. He further revealed that he assisted his father in disposing of the body in exchange for money from Luv. Investigators learned that Love had paid Jitendra an advance of ₹35,000, with a promise to settle the remaining amount later.

Following Vishal’s confession, the police recovered Bharadwaj’s body from the drain and arrested Luv. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to capture Jitendra, who is still on the run.
