From a mechanic to owning 22 apartments in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, George V. Nereaparambil, a Kerala-based businessman, has achieved an incredible feat.

He now holds the distinction of being the first Indian to own such a significant number of apartments in the world’s tallest building.

His journey from being a mechanic to a successful entrepreneur is nothing short of remarkable. George, who hails from Trivandrum, Kerala, has set his sights on a grand project: building a canal from Trivandrum to Kasargod in his hometown.

George, speaking from his apartment on the 49th floor of the luxurious Burj Khalifa in Dubai, expressed his determination to continue dreaming and fulfilling those dreams. He stated, “If I get a good deal, I will buy more apartments. I believe in dreaming and making those dreams come true. I won’t stop dreaming.”

How did George start buying these apartments?

Interestingly, George’s journey to owning apartments in Burj Khalifa began as a playful remark from his relatives. They once jokingly told him, “This is Burj Khalifa; you can’t enter here.” However, after seeing an advertisement in a newspaper six years ago, George decided to rent an apartment in Burj Khalifa. Since then, he has acquired a total of 22 apartments, with five of them already rented out. The remaining apartments are awaiting suitable tenants.

George V. Nereaparambil’s story is a testament to his determination, adaptability, and his belief in constantly learning and growing. In 1976, he founded GEO Group of Companies, including an air conditioning company in Sharjah, UAE. His journey started at the age of 11 when he began helping his father in selling cash crops.

He firmly believes in the value of acquiring new skills and knowledge every day. George emphasised that learning something new each day has been his greatest asset, and he encourages people to dream and strive for continuous learning. He believes that by doing so, individuals can achieve their desired goals and aspirations.

George’s remarkable journey from a mechanic to owning multiple apartments in Burj Khalifa serves as an inspiring example of what determination, hard work, and a commitment to lifelong learning can accomplish. His story encourages others to dream big and relentlessly pursue their ambitions, no matter where they start in life.
