Roshni Nadar got a stake in HCL as a gift
Prior to this change, HCL's visionary founder Shiv Nadar held 51% stake in both HCL Corporation and VAMA Delhi. The stake transfer was formalised through a private family arrangement, ensuring continued ownership and stability of the promoter family in the leadership of HCL. 

Roshni a trained Classical Dancer

Daughter of Shiv Nadar, Roshni is also a trained Classical dancer. She got married to Shikhar Malhotra, Vice Chairman of HCL Healthcare. The couple has two sons. Roshni is also a trustee of Shiv Nadar Foundation.

Roshni Nadar's father is a veteran art collector and also a founder of Kiran Nadar Museum. Roshni is the only child of her parents and took HCL Technologies in her hand in 2020 after her father's conversion. Before joining HCL she worked in many companies as a Producer. After over a year she was promoted to the post of Executive Director and CEO of HCL Corporation. She also became the Chairperson after her father stepped down from the post.

Roshni Nadar's education and early career
Roshni did her schooling from Vasant Valley School in Delhi and later moved to United States for further education. She later finished her MBA which specializes in social venture management from the Kellogg school of management.
