Who is Happy Passia : Another criminal from India has been caught on American soil. Punjab's notorious and wanted gangster Happy Passia has been detained there. Reports have quoted Indian intelligence officials as saying that the police in America have caught him. He is accused of carrying out 14 grenade attacks in Punjab. Passia's real name is Harpreet Singh. Police posts, religious places, BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia and other leaders have been targeted in grenade attacks. The report of the investigating agencies says that during the investigation, Passia's name came up and his involvement was seen in at least 14 grenade attacks.

Pasia's connection surfaced in the attack
The report quoted the source as saying that the National Investigation Agency had filed an application in the Chandigarh District Court seeking an arrest warrant against Pasia. The investigating agency said that on September 11 last year, a grenade attack took place on a house in Sector 10 of Chandigarh and Pasia's connection with this attack came to light. Pasia is accused of providing financial assistance to Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI to create a terror network in Punjab. Now the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Department in the US has detained him. It is understood that the investigating agencies will move towards extraditing Pasia.
