What lies ahead? Telangana CM Revanth Reddy gets summons in Amit Shah's doctored video case

Delhi Police on Monday summoned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Union Minister Amit Shah’s doctored video case. The move has been taken by the Delhi Police after Amit Shah and Ministry of Home Affairs forwarded a complaint in connection with the tempered video that surfaced on social media. 

According to the sources, Reddy has been asked to bring his mobile phones on May 1 before Delhi Police’s IFSO unit (cyber unit). The FIR in the case has been registered by the special cell of Delhi Police. The complaint was regarding the remarks suggesting a plan to eliminate reservations for Muslims in Telangana were allegedly manipulated to imply Shah's support for the abolition of all reservations.

Sources, also claim that five more Congress leaders will also be summoned in the case.

The move by the Delhi Police has come a day after the Ministry of Home Affairs complained. Meanwhile, the police have also asked the X to identify and share the details of accounts who allegedly uploaded the morphed video.
