An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi received a bomb threat, prompting an immediate evacuation of all passengers. IndiGo flight was about to take off from Delhi to Kashi, when news of bomb was received today i.e. Tuesday morning. Emergency evacuation of the plane was done immediately. As soon as the news of the bomb was received, passengers and crew members started running away by jumping from the emergency exit at the airport itself. Aviation security and a bomb disposal team are currently on the spot. According to Delhi Fire Service, the news of a bomb was received in the flight going from Delhi to Varanasi at 5.35 am. QRT has reached the spot. All the passengers were evacuated through the emergency door. All passengers are safe. The flight is being inspected.Same thing in Air India flight Recently, there was chaos in an Air India flight flying from Delhi to Vadodara due to the word bomb written on tissue paper. There were 175 passengers on board the plane at the time of the incident, which occurred just before takeoff. Police had said that they had received information about the threat at 7.30 pm on May 15. Police had said that tissue paper was found in the toilet of the flight around 7 pm. The passengers were safely disembarked following standard safety protocols and the aircraft was evacuated for mandatory checks by security agencies. An Air India official said that a specific security alert was received on Air India flight AI819 just before takeoff.
