New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi is set to unveil a comprehensive 10-point electoral pledge tailored for the youth and unemployed populace during a rally in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday, as per insider sources.

Rally in Badnawar district

The Congress MP is scheduled to make the announcement alongside Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge during a rally in Badnawar District of Madhya Pradesh today, insiders revealed.

Election strategy in motion

As the election fervor escalates, the Congress Election Committee (CEC), under the leadership of Kharge, is slated to convene on Thursday to finalize candidates for several states including Kerala and Karnataka. In contrast, the BJP has already declared 195 candidates.

Manifesto drafting underway

A dedicated Congress panel, led by former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, has meticulously crafted a draft manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The draft is now poised for deliberation within the Congress Working Committee.

Chidambaram emphasized, "We have prepared the draft manifesto. Now it will go to the Congress Working Committee. They will finalize the manifesto, then it will become the Congress party document."

Election campaign dynamics

Congress is gearing up to launch its election campaign for the Lok Sabha polls next week, with a targeted outreach strategy tailored to diverse demographics, according to insiders.

Congress' commitments, assurances

The Congress party plans to prominently display billboards pledging a legal assurance for Minimum Support Price (MSP) to farmers. This commitment follows the party's declaration during the farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' March, where it vowed to enshrine MSP in law if elected.

Furthermore, Congress has pledged to conduct a nationwide caste census if it assumes power, a move aimed at addressing long-standing demographic concerns.

Strengthening campaign infrastructure

In a bid to bolster its election machinery, Congress has mobilized one lakh Booth Level Agents (BLA) to galvanize its grassroots outreach efforts. With Lok Sabha polls anticipated to take place in April-May this year, the party is leaving no stone unturned in its election preparations.
