Another day and another violent incident emerged from the state of West Bengal. On a fateful day in Ranibandh, BJP booth secretary Banku Bihari Mahato was brutally beaten to death. The alleged perpetrators were thugs associated with the ruling party of WB, Trinamool Congress (TMC), highlighting the ongoing political violence in the state.

Banku Bihari Mahato was a dedicated BJP booth secretary, committed to his political duties and his community. His untimely and violent death has sent shockwaves throughout West Bengal, raising serious concerns about the safety of political workers and the state of law and order under Mamata Banerjee's rule. A post was shared by BJP West Bengal, mentioning "the land of West Bengal is soaked in blood." 

The BJP has accused the TMC of orchestrating this brutal attack. According to BJP leaders, TMC workers have been involved in several such violent incidents aimed at silencing opposition voices. They claim that political murders have become rampant under the current administration, painting a grim picture of democracy in West Bengal.
