New Delhi: BJP leader Arjun Singh’s office-cum-residence, Mazdoor Bhawan, was allegedly attacked this morning while locals were engaged in Navratri Puja. The attack reportedly involved individuals affiliated with Namit Singh, the son of a local AITC councillor, who has been implicated in NIA cases. According to Singh, these attackers were under police protection.

Attack during Navratri celebrations

As per Singh's statement on social media platform X, a group of "jehadis and goons," under the supervision of the local police, launched an assault on his residence in broad daylight. Bombs were reportedly hurled, and multiple rounds of bullets were fired. Singh claimed that the police stood by as mute spectators, despite the assailants openly brandishing firearms.

Singh further accused the West Bengal Police of being complicit in the attack, alleging that the attackers were under the protection of the ruling Trinamool Congress (AITC) party. He expressed outrage at the lack of police intervention, calling it “shameful” and alleging that the police had become a "stooge" of the AITC.
