Slogans of Jai sri ram were also raised.Probably this was in protest of Owaisis Jai Palestine slogan raised after taking oath… pic.twitter.com/TtCd7JM8qt— Saba Khan (@ItsKhan_Saba) June 27, 2024The video on social media has surfaced after Delhi residence of Asaduddin Owaisi, the chief of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), was attacked with black ink on June 26. The incident took place around 5:30 PM when unknown miscreants threw stones and black ink at his house in the high-security Ashoka Road area. This attack caused damage to the windows of the residence. Owaisi lodged a complaint with the police, who have since launched an investigation into the incident. This marks the fourth such attack on his residence since 2014. It is anticipated that this has happened probably due to Owaisis Jai Palestine slogan raised after taking oath in parliament as MP.In his tweet, Owaisi requested responsibility and guarantees of safety for Members of Parliament, tagging Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla and Home Minister Amit Shah. This is happening under your oversight, he wrote, referring to Amit Shah. He asked Om Birla to make it clear if MP safety will be ensured. Some “unknown miscreants” vandalised my house with black ink today. I have now lost count the number of times my Delhi residence has targeted. When I asked @DelhiPolice officials how this was happening right under their nose, they expressed helplessness. @AmitShah this is… pic.twitter.com/LmOuXu6W63— Asaduddin Owaisi (@asadowaisi) June 27, 2024Owaisi also wrote, “This does not scare me. Stop this Savarkar-type cowardly behaviour and be men enough to face me. Do not scurry away after throwing some ink or pelting a few stones.”
