Gujarat News: The bliss of marriage was tragically short-lived for a man in Gujarat, who was allegedly murdered just four days after his wedding. This shocking crime was reportedly orchestrated by his wife, who had been in love with her cousin prior to the marriage.
According to a report by India Today, Bhavik, a resident of Ahmedabad, married Payal from Gandhinagar. Just four days into their marriage, Bhavik was kidnapped and subsequently murdered by three men. The investigation revealed that Payal had conspired with her cousin Kalpesh, whom she had loved before marrying Bhavik.
On December 14, Bhavik went to pick up Payal from her parents' home. When he failed to return at the expected time, Payal's parents alerted Bhavik's father, who confirmed that his son had left earlier. Concerned for his safety, Payal's family initiated a search for him.
During their search, they discovered Bhavik's abandoned two-wheeler on the roadside. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a man on the motorcycle being forcibly taken by three men. Alarmed by this information, Payal's family contacted the police to report the incident.
The police grew suspicious when they learned that Bhavik had been kidnapped only days after his wedding. Upon questioning Payal, she confessed under pressure that she had planned her husband's murder. Following her confession, the police arrested the three suspects involved in the crime.
Kalpesh, one of the accused, disclosed that he and two accomplices had kidnapped Bhavik and strangled him to death inside their SUV before disposing of his body in the nearby Narmada canal. Police investigations revealed that Payal had called Bhavik to confirm his location before sharing it with Kalpesh. She admitted that her love for Kalpesh and her parents' insistence on marrying Bhavik led her to plot his murder.
In light of these developments, Payal has been taken into custody alongside the three main accused. This tragic story serves as a grim reminder of how love can sometimes lead to devastating consequences.
