The TMC, in its social media posts, attributed the blame to BJP Lok Sabha candidate Rekha Patra and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.According to TMCs social media account, the incident captured in visuals demonstrates the agitation within BJP over the Sandeshkhali issue. The TMC questioned the motive behind such actions, suggesting it was an attempt to divert attention from BJPs alleged conspiracy in Sandeshkhali. The party insinuated that the BJP, fearing repercussions, took matters into their own hands.#WATCH | West Bengal: A clash broke out between TMC and BJP workers in Sandeshkhali, more details awaited. pic.twitter.com/4Cnh3F9RNM— ANI (@ANI) May 12, 2024Adding to the criticism, Bengal Minister Shashi Panja attributed responsibility for the altercation to Prime Minister Modi. The sole criterion to join Modis Parivar is thuggery.@DrShashiPanja condemned that under BJPs MP candidate Rekha Patras command, BJP workers wreaked havoc in Sandeshkhali, assaulting our workers.PM @narendramodi is responsible for everything!#SandeshkhaliExposed pic.twitter.com/iBTEmIGXAg— All India Trinamool Congress (@AITCofficial) May 12, 2024Earlier in the day, Trinamool Congress has lodged an official complaint with the Chief Election Commissioner against National Commission for Women (NCW) chairperson Rekha Sharma.
