New Delhi: A wedding ceremony in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, turned violent after a guest, identified as Shankerlal, a teacher, stabbed the groom on stage. The shocking incident, captured on video and now viral on social media, has left the community reeling.

Under the guise of a gift: A brutal attack

The attack unfolded during the blessing ceremony. The groom, Bhanwarlal Sen, was celebrating his marriage to Krishna when Shankerlal approached the stage, ostensibly to present a gift. However, in a horrifying turn of events, Shankerlal pulled out a knife and stabbed the groom multiple times in the head.

Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the groom were minor. However, the attack sent shockwaves through the wedding guests, creating a scene of panic. Following the assault, Shankerlal fled the scene, with reports suggesting his associates engaged in stone-pelting and firing to impede attempts to apprehend him.

The bride's brother, Vishal Sen, registered a complaint with the police, revealing that Krishna and Shankerlal were previously colleagues at a government high school.
