Following the video's circulation online, the couple faced repercussions from the police. In a remorseful statement issued at the police station, the man acknowledged the inherent danger of their actions. "The act we exhibited on the motorcycle was a potential risk to our lives and others on the roadway," he stated. He further appealed to viewers, "People, don't do such acts as it draws legal consequences."
