New Delhi: In the early hours of Monday, Abdul Malik, the former mayor of Malegaon and a key figure in Asaduddin Owaisis All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party, was shot by two unidentified assailants in Nashik district. Malik, who was sitting outside a shop near a petrol pump on the Old Agra road, sustained three bullet wounds.Incident details and injuriesThe attack occurred around 1.20 am when the perpetrators, riding a motorbike, opened fire on Malik. He was hit on the left side of his chest, his right hand, and his leg. Following the attack, Malik was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
