A kiss that changes everything? Savita and Deepanshu, the couple, shared a moment that the family was unable to bear! This curious case will make you wonder why the society that allows strangers to sleep together by tying the knot can't accept a sweet gestural forehead kiss!

The wedding band's loud music welcomed the baraat as it arrived with much fanfare. The bride, Savita, and the groom, Deepanshu, were dressed in a deep crimson lehenga and a matching white bandgala with a hat. They exchanged garlands in a beautiful ceremony until an unexpected moment turned the celebration into chaos. In a spontaneous gesture, Deepanshu kissed Savita on the forehead, igniting a furious reaction from a member of the bride's family.

Chaos Unleashed

The kiss led to an uproar, with one of Savita's relatives loudly objecting. What began as a beautiful wedding quickly descended into chaos. Plastic chairs were thrown, food and drink plates were scattered, and punches were exchanged. The situation became so violent that some family members ended up at the police station, while others were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Amid the turmoil, the decision was made to call off the wedding. The baraat returned home without the bride, marking an abrupt end to what was supposed to be a joyous occasion. However, the story took another twist later that night.

The Runaway Bride

In the darkness of night, the determined Savita, still in her bridal attire, left her home in Ashok Nagar. She made her way to Deepanshu's house in the nearby Shiv Nagar area. There, they quickly arranged a simple ceremony and got married, defying the chaos that had unfolded earlier.

Days after the May 20 brawl, the memory of the dramatic wedding lingered in the two communities in Hapur, western Uttar Pradesh. Nepal Singh, Savita's uncle, revealed that his brother Naresh, Savita's father, was among those arrested during the wedding melee. Their ancestral home in Harchana village, about 20 kilometers from Hapur, was abuzz with the event's aftermath. By 4:30 AM, as the families dealt with the police, they learned that Savita had left to marry Deepanshu.

On the same evening, Savita's sister, Chanchal, had a less eventful wedding. Chanchal declined to comment on her sister's wedding chaos, saying, "Meri shaadi ho gayi thi aur meri baraat nikal gayi." She added that she was unaware of the details that unfolded afterward.

The Community Reacts

In Shiv Nagar, Deepanshu's father, Pappu "dhol walla," is well-known. Their modest home became the site of the final marriage rites after Savita bravely walked there in the early hours of May 21. Santosh, Deepanshu's mother, defended her son's actions, saying, "Who else will kiss his wife if a husband doesn't?" She brushed off the fight as typical wedding drama.

Deepanshu and Savita, now husband and wife, tried to leave the chaos behind. "Hum theek hain," said Deepanshu from their honeymoon in Nainital. "We are alright. I do not want to talk about the incident anymore." The couple seemed intent on moving past the tumultuous start to their married life, focusing instead on their future together.
