The groom, who had been struggling to find a bride, sought help from a friend residing in Kushinagar, who promised to facilitate his marriage. Little did he know, this would lead to his life savings being stolen.The Setup: A Promise of Marriage and a Photo of the BrideAccording to the grooms complaint, his friend in Kushinagar sent him a photograph of a woman, claiming she was the perfect match for him. The groom, eager to settle down, approved of the photo and agreed to travel to Kushinagar for the marriage. Once there, a quick temple wedding ceremony was organized. What seemed like the beginning of a new chapter in his life quickly turned into a nightmare.The Great Theft: Bride Steals Cash, Jewelry, and MoreAfter the wedding rituals were completed, the groom, overwhelmed with happiness, didnt notice the deceit unfolding. The bride, under the pretense of using the restroom, fled the wedding venue with cash worth nearly one lakh rupees, along with valuable jewelry and other items. Once she disappeared, the rest of the gang followed suit, gradually making their escape.
