New Delhi: In a shocking development, Jitan Sahani, the father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, was brutally murdered at their ancestral home in Bihar's Darbhanga district. His mutilated body was discovered on a bed this morning, prompting a swift response from local authorities.

Senior police officer Jagannath Reddy confirmed the tragic incident, stating that a police team has been dispatched to the Sahani residence to investigate the crime scene. The brutal nature of the murder has sent shockwaves through the local community, with residents expressing deep concern and fear.

Who is Mukesh Sahani? 

Mukesh Sahani is an Indian politician from Bihar and he served as the Minister for Animal Husbandry & Fisheries in the Government of Bihar till March 27, 2022. He is the founder of the Vikassheel Insaan Party, a political party in Bihar. He Previously worked as a Bollywood stage designer. Sahani is also owner of a company named 'Mukesh Cineworld Private Limited.' 

Part of Mahagathbandhan in Bihar

Sahani campaigned for BJP during the Bihar Legislative Assembly 2015 election, but later formed VIP and his party became part of Mahagathbandhan in Bihar for Indian general election, 2019. They contested three Lok Sabha seats but failed to win any seats.
