In a distressing incident in Vaishali, an Anganwadi worker and her three daughters were brutally assaulted by a group of men after they resisted ongoing harassment. The victims have sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a community health center. The incident occurred in Basudevpur Chandel village, within the jurisdiction of the Mahnar police station.

The Anganwadi worker reported that while she is away at the Anganwadi center, her daughters are often left alone at home. During these times, they have been subjected to harassment by Satish Singh, his son Vishwajeet Kumar, and Shyam Sundar Kumar, who reside in the same neighborhood.

Assault Incident

The situation escalated when the accused entered the victim's home and attempted to harass her daughters. Upon resistance, Satish Singh, Vishwajeet Kumar, Shyam Sundar Kumar, along with Sweta Kumari, Suruchi Kumari, Sita Devi, and others, attacked the Anganwadi worker and her daughters with sticks and rods. The assault was severe, leaving all four women seriously injured. A video capturing the brutality of the attack has surfaced, providing crucial evidence.
