Complaint filedThe parents of the students alleged that one community prayer is allowed but the Hanuman Deeksha isnt allowed. They registered a complaint on Wednesday against school staff under sections 153(A) (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion or race) and 295(A) (insulting religious feelings). The school management clarified by saying that the principal had only asked the students to bring their parents to school for a meeting after noticing for several days that some students were not wearing the school uniform.Response of AuthoritiesTwo cases have been filed, both from the schools side and from the parents side.A case has been booked by the Mancherial district police against the school staff and principal for invoking sections related to religious sentiment, promoting enmity between groups on the grounds of religion, and allegedly opposing and punishing students wearing the religious attire of Hanuman Deeksha. After the religious mob took over and vandalized the school, the school management lodged a complaint with the local police, but no arrests have been made yet.
