Nigam disclosed that Gurugovar, in a distressing act early in the morning, attempted to end the lives of her children at the ghat. The bodies of the deceased children, aged five and six, were discovered with their mouths filled with water weeds, underscoring the gravity of the situation. Remarkably, one child survived the ordeal by feigning death, revealing that he had closed his eyes during the drowning and emerged when he sensed his mothers departure.Investigation and Legal ProceedingsIn response to the incident, authorities have initiated a thorough investigation to ascertain the motive behind Gurugovars actions and identify any possible accomplices.
