Video: How will Ghaziabad police justify after officer thrashes 14-year-old e-rickshaw driver, drags him with hair

A horrific video has surfaced on social media from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, where a police official can be seen thrashing an e-rickshaw driver in the middle of the traffic. The e-rickshaw driver is reported to be a 14-year-old teen who has been identified as Sohail. According to the reports, the outrage happened after a heated argument happened between Inspector Bhanu Pratap and the rickshaw driver.

However, the cause of the issue is yet to be ascertained. 

Soon after the video surfaced on social media platforms, the Ghaziabad police’s official through X handle informed that they have taken cognizance of the matter and have directed the ACP Wave city to investigate the matter and take legal action.
