Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was taken to Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he complained of restlessness and chest pain. He was admitted to the hospital at about 2 AM on Sunday and is kept under close medical surveillance in the Critical Care Unit (CCU).

A group of doctors led by Dr. Rajiv Narang, Head of the Cardiology Department at AIIMS, are keeping an eye on his condition.  Dhankhar's health is stable, according to medical sources, and his wellbeing is often checked.

The moment the hospitalization news came out, BJP senior leader and Union Minister JP Nadda went to AIIMS to know about his condition. Some of the political leaders and well-wishers are already worried about him and watching his health updates closely.

More information regarding his health condition will be established as the medical personnel keep making their evaluations.
