Amidst the much-awaited Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya, a concerning scam targeting devotees has come to light. The spokesperson urged devotees to be wary of individuals misusing the sacred occasion for personal gain. Bansal shared details of a specific case involving a miscreant named Abhishek Kumar, who circulated a QR code on social media platforms under the pretense of collecting funds for the temple development. Upon scanning the code, users were directed to an UPI ID linked to someone who is not linked to the official Trust.VHP files FIRTo combat this fraudulent activity and protect devotees from falling prey to such scams, Bansal filed a formal complaint. In his complaint letter, he reiterated that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust hasnt authorized any private individual or organization to collect donations for the temple project.Bansal emphasized in his complaint, At a time when the entire nation is rejoicing over the Ram temple inauguration, such preposterous activities should be nipped in the bud. Further amplifying the warning Bansal shared a post on microblogging platform X, Some people are trying to cheat money by making fake ID in the name of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. @HMOIndia @CPDelhi @dgpup @Uppolice should take delayed action against such people. @ShriRamTeerth has not authorized anybody to collect funds for this occasion.Inauguration ceremonyWith the grand inauguration ceremony scheduled for January 16-22, 2024, extensive preparations are underway in Ayodhya.
